I’ve worked as a Senior Interface Designer at humm group in office and remotely. I have worked with the Sales and Marketing team delivering eDMs campaigns, social media and digital marketing collaterals for the web, manipulating complex design systems for four different brands: humm, humm90, humm pro and bundll. I worked closely with the Creative Director, Designers, Writers and the Delivering Team making sure my work reflects what all parts involved are looking for to achieve with the specific campaigns, meeting tied deadlines and delivering good work while working under pressure.
Humm Group serves over 2.1 million customers throughout Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. The business offers to their customers a smart digital spending and buy now pay later systems and credit cards, with brands such as humm, humm90, humm pro and bundll.
My high level goals were:
- Use and keep a consistent look and feel for each brand making sure the tone of voice and digital design products I deliver meet good standards and expectations.
- Try to drive conversions through digital products, having a clear goal about what the user would do when interacting with the product.
- Creating consistent design systems and global components to help the team with all the upcoming projects.
Technological skills used
I created the design system for the brand from scratch, starting with the new logo and some colours. All the foundations of the brand were handed off to another team based in New Zealand which worked on the design of the mobile app. I permanently stayed in touch with the lead designer of this team to be aligned in all the updates and work on the design system. Figma was a great platform to keep consistency across teams and the design system was used to make the brand grow for other marketing collaterals such as eDMs, website, social assets, among others.
